The EZPZ Bee Escape is a modern take on a classic design. Attach it to a board the size of your Langstroth hive (5, 8 or 10 frame) with a hole about 1.5" in diameter and shims around the edges. Place over the top brood box face down then replace honey supers to clear them. This is usually done for 24 hours. Any longer will allow development of small hive beetles. You must also close any entrance above the board or the honey supers will be subject to robbing.

 You can also mount it on an inner cover but be sure to remove it before using it for an inner cover again because it will trap bees between the inner and telescoping covers.

Here's a cool trick: when stacking honey supers in your truck, place one face up so the stragglers can get out but curious foragers can't get in. It works great! Picture shows top and bottom.  Made of PETG plastic for durability and UV resistance.
